What They Are

How They Work
Unlike exfoliating peels that remove the outer layer, PRX treatments work within the dermis.

What to Expect

Before Your Appointment
- Avoid active topicals (retinoids, acids, exfoliants) for 3 days prior.
- Come with clean skin—no self-tanner, makeup, or heavy moisturizers.
- Let us know if you’ve recently had microneedling, laser, or another resurfacing treatment.
Aftercare
- Mild pinkness or tightness may occur for 24 hours.
- Avoid heat, steam, and vigorous exercise for the first 24 hours.
- Skip exfoliants, retinoids, or strong actives for 3–5 days.
- Use gentle cleanser, hydrating serum (like Epicutis Lipid Serum or Hydrinity HA), and SPF 50 daily.
- Keep skin hydrated and protected—your collagen is actively remodeling!
